AboutNext Move is a movement of sport and faith. Next Move is a movement of Christian athletes. We love sports and believe that God loves every person and therefore every athlete. We do not keep that to ourselves, but we like to share it with everyone in the sports world, because we also want them to.
We are focused on three strategies:

Prayer Requests
April 2020 - There have been very little activities this month, due to the Coronavirus lock down situation in our country. The greatest success so far is being able to connect digitally to the African CSRM staff & GNPs. - Together we are defeating COVID-19 as well as DEFEATING HUNGER IN AFRICA. We want to keep you informed of how you're bringing positive global change, reducing global hunger and poverty in Africa through OUR FAMILY LIVES. Our heart is to support all nine African countries we are associated with through the ministry as well as support the local nine state/provincial ministry leaders helping us within South Africa to grow CSRM that we disciple. - We believe you cannot teach a hungry human so we are in a season to feed during COVID-19. We aim to feed 165 families during this time. Thus far we managed to feed 72 families, and 52 families gave their lives to GOD! - We understand the nature of the current global pandemic so we are more than grateful to you for blessing many families in this challenging time for both you and others. If this is all news to you for the first time.... remember it’s never too late to be a blessing! -I recently started training a former associate based in Lesotho, and he is super excited to be part of CSRM in future. -At home, my wife, Joslyn, is very busy with the feeding campaign, our sons Lyle and Blake are starting to come up with very weird to do lists at home during lock down so pray for the parents' fruits of the spirit haha! Greatest Challenge -My greatest challenge recently has been to raise enough finance to feed ministry families & keep momentum going for CSRM due to COVID-19 pandemic. 2019

We recognize the unimaginable power of sport. Sport connects and brings people together regardless of status, ethnicity and religion. Sport ensures that we meet many people, for example in the neighborhood, at the sports club or in a team. Millions of people worldwide share a passion for sport and the reach of the sports movement is unprecedented. Partners of the church We believe that the church is the place where Christians grow in their relationship with God. So we are absolutely not a substitute for the church. We helped the church to reach out to the people around her. For someone who does not believe, it is often a huge barrier to enter the church. So we bring the church to the sports field. That is familiar ground for every younger person. Working out together creates mutual trust and openness to share life with each other. In this way we help the church to connect and remain relevant for young people, both inside and outside the congregation. The international playing field Sport is one of the strongest uniform 'languages' in the world. Wherever you go, you play sports everywhere. It goes beyond national borders, ignores ethnic differences and transcends language problems. That power enables us to be an active participant worldwide in the countless networks within the sports world. Not surprising - given the power of sports - the sports ministry network is even the largest mission network worldwide. It provides access to innumerable resources, a constant stream of inspiration and in turn we inspire many organizations worldwide that share the gospel in and through sport. |
