The VISION
We see ourselves  transforming lives through Sports Ministry by sharing the love God has Stipulated in the Great Commission. We endeavor to witness and disciple the community with a sole purpose of winning them to Christ through sports.

MISSION STATEMENT
In fulfilling the great commission, we the 316 Transformational  Sports Ministry, exist to train and equip saints to use sports as tools to impact the world with the good news.

OUR OBJECTIVES

1. Train believers on how to win people to Christ through sports.
2. Mentor and develop leaders from all churches for sports ministry
3. Use sports as an evangelistic tool to win many to Christ 
4. Bridge the gap between the community and local churches  through sports.
5. Disciple the decision makers into become dependable and reliable leaders.

2019

​Fall 2019

• Last month we had a successful Sports ministry of reaching the unreached, predominantly Islamic people groups at the Kenya – Ethiopia Border. The event brought together teams from different tribes which have been in conflict for many years. For the first time they came together through sports. The area senior police
  inspector graced the occasion by giving out the
  trophies to the winners.
  • ​​It was amazing to see people who have always been in conflict playing together.
  • We plan to host this team in Nairobi in October as a way of following up on them. It would be great to have them attend service in our Church​ 
• We have an upcoming  training in Burundi and Congo, August 27-September 2.

2020

January

• We are conducting ministry in Khartoum where many are doing outreach through sports ministry
• Trained 20 leaders and also working with a team of six coaches with a purpose of growing them in the area of sports ministry. 
• Having the resources that meet all these training needs is still a major issue​ ​

May

• Currently there  is still a total ban on any type of  sports but when things come to normal I plan to start with conducting training through online means.
• With social distancing restrictions we are still giving out tracts as a way of evangelism

• Involved with the Uncommon Sports ministry coaches seminar and youth tournament at the Kenya/Ethiopia border along with two evangelistic camps, kids camp and Zanzibar training
