Mission
To use sports as a Godgiven bridge to share the Gospel, nurture Christcentered disciples, and strengthen the local church by creating welcoming spaces where individuals and communities encounter Jesus and experience holistic transformation

Vision
To see churches across Uganda empowered to use sports as a ministry tool that renews communities, raises Christcentered leaders, and inspires spiritual, social, and generational transformation for God’s glory.

Meet Joshua.

I am the founder of HSM, a sports ministry is dedicated to disciple young people, and strengthen the churches in Uganda. With more than a decade in sports ministry across Africa, my calling is rooted in transforming communities through faith‑centered sports outreach.

Through HSM, I partner with churches in Uganda to share the Gospel, build Christ‑centered relationships, and empower youth spiritually, socially, and emotionally. HSM approach blends biblical discipleship with structured sports programs, creating safe and welcoming spaces where individuals encounter the love of Jesus and grow into leaders who impact their communities for God’s Kingdom.

Beyond HSM, I am recognized internationally for expertise in sport‑for‑development. I have led programs that promote health, education, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment especially among vulnerable groups such as refugees and urban youth. My leadership has strengthened initiatives that uphold humanitarian values while reflecting Christ’s compassion and justice. I also serve in national sports leadership as Vice President of the Uganda Hockey Association and President of the Uganda Korfball Association, advocating for integrity, inclusion, and Christ‑like leadership in sports governance.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Development Studies (International) from Kyambogo University, an Advanced Diploma in Sports Management from the IOC, a Diploma in Information Technology, and a Master’s in NGO Management from Uganda Management Institute.

Above all, I am a devoted family man joyfully married to my beautiful wife, and together God has blessed us with three wonderful children who remain my greatest earthly ministry and a constant source of encouragement as I serve the Lord. With their support, I continue to pursue my calling to use sports as a ministry platform to win souls, make disciples, and raise a generation of Christcentered leaders who will transform Uganda for God’s glory.
