The Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministries

MY DEVOTION BUILDER for coaches
You have painstakingly recruited volunteers to coach, but they don't know what a sports ministry is. You have very little time to prepare your coaches to be spiritual leaders before the first game. Now what?
MY DEVOTION BUILDER
You’re a coach, but now you are expected to be the teams spiritual leader as well. You might be thinking: “I’m not sure I can or even want to be a spiritual leader? What’s a devotion and how am I supposed to develop one? How does any of this work?”
CSRM is making available a new tool to answer your coaches’ questions and to equip them to take the first steps in reaching their teammates for Christ and to help disciple those who already know Him. Check out My Devotion Builder now and contact us to get your own training and tools!
How it works
My Devotion Builder comes as a PowerPoint tool for Sports Directors so they can personally train their coaches. Or, if you are pressed for time or have difficulty getting coaches to come to your training, coaches can link to an online e-course instead. They learn the same information at their own pace without you being there. Plus, they are required to contact and go over the first devotion that they develop as an exercise online. Now you have time to go over the devotion with them before the first game. We also offer an online sports and recreation devotion library. Your coaches can review some and see what a good devotion looks like and maybe it will give them some ideas of their own on which to build.
