Colossians 3:15
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."

Brabeuo: to act as an umpire, arbitrate, rule, or direct
What “rules” or “governs” your heart? What is the “predominant” force in the very core of your being?
The focus of today’s Daily Huddle has to do with allowing Jesus to “rule” our hearts and lives.
The set of athletic-based words we’re contemplating this week are based on the root word translated as “umpire, referee or official” and today’s word Brabeuo’ is translated in Colossians 3:15 as “rule,” and this carries the sense of “presiding, directing or predominating.”
So the question for all athletes and sports ministers is…what is the “predominant” force of your heart? Is it as this verse states: the “peace of Christ?”
If not, what do you need to do today to “let the peace of Christ, ‘rule’ in your heart?
Action point: Will you pause right now and give all your concerns…all your anxieties and worries to Jesus and let “His peace ‘rule’ your heart?”
