Many times in life we quit before we know the final score. We decide that it's over and just stop. I've found this true on the court and I've seen it many times in life. In sports they have a saying, "Winners never quit, and quitters never win." I like the say, "It's tough to beat the person who won't give up." People like Thomas Edison who tried thousands of times before discovering the lightbulb, or Abraham Lincoln who was defeated many times when running for office before he became on of America's greatest Presidents. It took John Wooden 14 years to develop The Pyramid of Success and it took him 14 years before he won his first National Championship.

"THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"

It's not easy to keep going when we don't see the results that we were hoping for. Many times in the Christian life we think just because we believe in God that everything is suppose to work out our way and should be easy on the way. But that isn't what God says will happen when we trust Him with our lives. What He does tell us that He will be there in the battle. Romans 8:28 Is often quoted to us when we are going through hard time. Not easy to take at those times, but doesn't make it any less true. Keep pushing, keep going, trust God for the results, not yourself!

ASK YOURSELF: Do I give my best when attempting things? What is my response when things don't turn out the way I had hoped? Who am I trusting for the results

READ: Romans 8:28; 1 Corinthians 9:24; 2 Timothy 1:7; Joshua 1:9; Galatians 6:9; and my favourite Phil. 4:13

REMEMBER: "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Don't Give Up! "The Best is yet to come". This is especially true in the Christian life!
