Are you willing to endure “conflict” and even “suffer” to reach those who are far from Jesus and His Church?

Today we continue on the theme of experiencing “conflict” “struggle” or “suffering”... spiritually speaking. Our conversation is based upon our continued study of the Greek word Agon which was an athletic term that was rooted in the concept of an athlete’s being willing to enter into “conflict” or even “suffer” in order to attain an athletic goal or victory.

Paul is inspired by Holy Spirit to write to yet another to set of believers, this time in the ancient city of Thessaloniki. He wrote in the 2nd chapter and 2nd verse of his letter that he was willing to even endure “suffering” in the midst of much “conflict” if that resulted in him being able to declare the Gospel to them.

Action point: Right now... commit to enduring whatever “conflict” and to “suffer” is necessary for the privilege of declaring the Gospel... even in hostile and dangerous times and places!
