Psalm 119:105

"Your word is like a lamp that shows me the way. It is like a light that guides me."

The Bible

The Bible

Batting practice is important in softball and baseball. The more often you can take practice swings off of a tee, in a batting cage, or even during a practice, the more prepared you will be for when you play in a game.

While batting practice will help you in a baseball or softball game, there is something that will help us in our lives. Life is kind of like a game if you think about it. As Christians, we live every day preparing to get our ultimate prize and victory: Heaven.

So, what can help us receive our victory?

What can help us prepare to win in the game of life?

Well, how about the Bible? The Bible is amazing - it is God’s guide to help us know how we should live as followers of Jesus.

Look at what these verses say about the Bible!

Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is alive and active. It is sharper than any sword that has two edges. It cuts deep enough to separate soul from spirit. It can separate bones from joints. It judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Bible helps us to know what is right and wrong. It prepares us for living to honor God!

II Timothy 3:16-17

God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.

The Bible can be trusted because it is given to us by God and can be used to prepare us to live good lives like Jesus.

Psalm 119:105

Your word is like a lamp that shows me the way. It is like a light that guides me.

The Bible tells us how we should live.

“BP” can also stand for Bible practice. The more we read it, the more we know how we can and should live!
