Department of Lifetime Fitness and Sports Ministry, Professor and Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL

The Department of Lifetime Fitness and Sports Ministry at Moody Bible Institute seeks a full-time faculty member to teach Sports Ministry and Lifetime Fitness courses and coach the Men’s Soccer team.  The primary emphasis will be in Sports Ministry along with Soccer.  Other duties include advising majors and mentoring students.  The Department of Lifetime Fitness and Sports Ministry has 4 full-time faculty members and 30 sports ministry majors.  The Moody Athletics Department hosts five intercollegiate teams, several club teams and is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, Division II.  For a full description, please click here.

Wellness Ministries Director, Myers Park Presbyterian Church, Charlotte, NC

Myers Park Presbyterian Church, based in Charlotte N.C., is currently recruiting a Wellness Ministries Director for its brand new Outreach center. The position will creates and directs ideas and programs to increase participation of MPPC members in Recreational Ministries. This will involve directing staff, implementing and following policies and procedures, preparing budget, and ensuring compliance with Child and Youth Protection Policy. The Director will work closely with other areas on scheduling space within the build for members, staff, and outside groups. This position will also serve as liaison between the community and the support services of the church (i.e. communications, facilities, etc.) as well as other members and staff as well as builds and maintain relationships with leaders and disciples in the church and community to enhance MPPC recreational ministry programs. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field along with six years of progressively responsible experience in directing sports, wellness, outreach ministries or the equivalent combination of education/experience. Program Administrator, The Salvation Army - Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Quincy, IL


The Program Administrator develops policies and programs that guide the Quincy RJKCCC in maintaining and improving its image, service levels and fiscal soundness; provides leadership and oversight to all program operational activities. Be proactive by making recommendations and set goals for process improvement in the above and other areas as necessary. Oversee the delivery of programs and services offered by the center, including aquatics, health and fitness, sports, camps, arts, music and other programs as determined. The information listed below is representative of the minimal requirements for this position: Bachelor degree in Business and or Recreation Administration or related field. A minimum of five years of experience directing operations in a significant recreational, athletic, and/or entertainment facilities including a minimum of two years prior experience supervising and managing multiple task professional staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships including experience in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining staff.
