Team Eligibility
Qualifying Leagues
1.Teams must come from a league affiliated with CSRM
and/or Impact Basketball.
2.These leagues will be sponsored by a local church or ministry organization
affiliated with a local church.
3.The sponsoring organization will be providing
organized recreational
“roster ball” leagues. This is to be understood as being different than
organizing traveling “all-star” teams.
4.There must be a CSRM/Impact Basketball league director who will
validate the team(s) being entered in the tournament.
Ages of Eligibility
The tournament will provide for 2012 two separate age divisions
9-11(5th and 6th grade) and 12-14(7th and 8th grade) for two separate
gender divisions. Teams will be comprised of players not exceeding the
age of 11 or 14 or grades six or 8 as of January 1, 2012. Copies of
birth records and school records must be available upon request.
Rostered Teams Not All Star Teams
• Tournament teams should be comprised of regular “roster ball” teams
not “all-star” teams. If a league needs to combine one or more rosters
to make up a tournament team prior approval will be needed.
• A roster of all teams entering prior to the tournament
• Each league director must verify the background safety check of all
coaches and any adult providing chaperone supervision of players with
documentation provided to the tournament director. This does not
include fans only coaches and designated chaperones but each league
director and/or church representative assumes all responsibility for
all adults accompanying any team.
• All teams must be entered and all appropriate fees paid by the
deadline of March 1, 2012 and meet all of the above requirements prior
to competing.
• All appropriate wavers must be sent to the tournament director prior
to competing.
